Katy Perry Shares Update on Daughter with Orlando Bloom
'She's a Little Boss'
Katy Perry recently opened up about her daughter, Daisy Dove, with fiancé Orlando Bloom.
In an interview with PEOPLE, the singer gushed about her little girl, saying, "She's a little boss. She's very opinionated. She knows what she wants and she's not afraid to go for it." Perry also revealed that Daisy is already a huge fan of music, just like her parents.
"She loves music," Perry said. "She's always singing and dancing. She's definitely got a little bit of her parents' genes in that way." Perry and Bloom welcomed Daisy in August 2020. The couple has been together since 2016 and got engaged in February 2019.
Bloom previously shared that he and Perry have made a pact to stay sober together for the sake of their daughter. "Doing it together makes it so much easier," he said. Bloom also praised Perry's parenting skills, saying, "She's an incredible mother. She's so patient and loving with Daisy. I'm so grateful for her." Perry and Bloom are reportedly planning to get married in 2023.
