A Dry Weight Of Under 1200kg A Power To Weight Ratio Of 668ps Per Tonne And The Fastest Lap Times Of Any Mclaren

The New McLaren Senna: The Lightest and Most Powerful McLaren Ever

A dry weight of under 1200kg, a power-to-weight ratio of 668PS-per-tonne, and the fastest lap times of any McLaren.

McLaren has unveiled the new McLaren Senna, a limited-production mid-engine sports car that is the third addition to the McLaren Ultimate Series.

The Senna is the lightest McLaren since the iconic F1, with a dry weight of under 1200kg. It also has the highest power-to-weight ratio of any McLaren, at 668PS-per-tonne. This gives the Senna the fastest lap times of any McLaren, surpassing even the McLaren P1 GTR.

The Senna is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces 800 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission that sends power to the rear wheels.

The Senna's carbon fiber monocoque chassis is the same as the one used in the McLaren 720S, but it has been modified to be even lighter and stiffer. The Senna also features a number of aerodynamic enhancements, including a large front splitter, a rear diffuser, and a rear wing.

The Senna is a track-focused car, but it is also street legal. It is expected to cost around $1 million when it goes on sale later this year.
