Five Nights at Freddy's, the popular video game franchise, is set to make its cinematic debut in 2023. The film, produced by Blumhouse Productions (M3GAN, The Black Phone), will be a supernatural horror that follows five children who become trapped overnight in a pizzeria inhabited by the nightmarish animatronics from the games.
The film stars Josh Hutcherson, Piper Rubio, Elizabeth Lail, and Matthew Lillard. No release date has been announced, but production is expected to begin later this year.
